Job Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax returns
  • Manage multiple client engagements from planning through completion, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, responding to tax related questions and providing proactive guidance
  • Research federal, state, and local tax issues and provide clear, well supported recommendations
  • Assist with tax planning strategies and identify opportunities to minimize client tax liabilities
  • Review work prepared by junior staff and provide coaching and feedback to support their development
  • Collaborate with managers and partners on client deliverables and workflow management during busy seasons
  • Stay current on tax law changes and apply updates appropriately across engagements

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of recent public accounting tax experience
  • Strong experience preparing and reviewing tax returns across multiple entity types
  • CPA license preferred or actively pursuing
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills and client service mindset
