Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Tallahassee, FL that is seeking a Project Manager who can work independently and manage multiple medium-to-high complexity IT projects in a hybrid Agile/Traditional environment. This role requires strong communication, organization, and cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to perform both Project Manager and Business Analyst responsibilities as needed.

Responsibilities:
* Manage multiple large or cross-functional IT projects with enterprise impact
* Deliver projects using hybrid Agile/Waterfall methodologies
* Own and manage product backlogs, sprint planning, and release planning
* Create, maintain, and manage project plans, schedules, and documentation
* Facilitate and lead project meetings and stakeholder communications
* Track and report project status, risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions
* Coordinate closely with technical teams, SMEs, and business partners
* Ensure compliance with applicable project management and oversight standards (Rule 60GG-1, F.A.C. and related chapters)
* Manage project documentation repositories and reporting requirements
* Perform Business Analysis activities including requirements definition and process analysis
* Support QA reviews and ensure deliverables meet quality standards

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
* Active PMP certification (PMI) - required
* Active Agile certification (CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, DaD, CSP, or similar) - required
* Minimum 6 years of professional experience in IT, Business, or Communications
* Proven experience managing Agile artifacts (roadmaps, backlogs, sprints)
* Experience using Azure DevOps or other Agile project management tools

Preferred Experience:
* Knowledge of public-sector IT processes, oversight, and procurement practices
* Familiarity with RFQ, RFP, ITB, ITN, and vendor management
* Experience with SharePoint Online (M365)
* Strong background in Business Analysis and Systems Analysis
* Comfort presenting to and communicating with large groups

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
