Senior Scrum Master (Hybrid)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Scrum Master for a hybrid role in Chicago, IL.

Responsibilities:
* Lead Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and reviews
* Support release planning, stakeholder communications, and delivery tracking
* Remove impediments and help teams maintain consistent progress
* Drive adoption and continuous improvement of Agile practices with a strong Scrum focus
* Coach cross-functional teams across product, design, engineering, quality, and business functions
* Track progress through dashboards, reporting, and key delivery metrics
* Promote accountability, transparency, and data-driven decision-making
* Manage dependencies across teams and support broader Agile transformation efforts
* Develop playbooks, training materials, and best practices to improve team maturity
* Mentor team members and foster a collaborative, high-performing delivery environment

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
* Strong experience with the Agile software development lifecycle
* Proven success leading large, cross-functional Agile teams, preferably in cloud-native development environments
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organizational skills, including project tracking and status reporting
* Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar Agile tools
* Experience using metrics and dashboards to monitor team health and delivery progress
* Strong facilitation, coaching, conflict resolution, and consensus-building skills
* Solid understanding of iterative software development processes and Agile delivery practices
* Ability to build trusted relationships across technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to Have:
* Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar Agile certification
* Cloud Practitioner certification
* Experience supporting large-scale, data-intensive application development
* Background in complex pricing, analytics, or transaction-heavy platforms

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
