Description

We are looking for an IT Security Analyst to support and strengthen daily security operations for a financial services environment in Bensalem, Pennsylvania. This role focuses on monitoring security activity, managing risk and compliance tasks, and helping ensure timely response to incidents, vulnerabilities, and access-related concerns. The ideal candidate brings a strong service mindset, solid technical judgment, and the ability to collaborate across technology teams while maintaining a secure and well-documented operating environment.

Responsibilities:
Manage incoming security-related support requests, resolve issues within established service expectations, and provide responsive assistance to internal users and IT partners.
Perform recurring reviews of security devices, system settings, and user access controls to confirm appropriate protection and identify areas requiring remediation.
Use governance, risk, and compliance tools to track vulnerability findings, coordinate follow-up actions, and work with infrastructure teams to keep patching efforts on schedule.
Conduct third-party security assessments and prepare clear reporting to support vendor risk visibility and decision-making.
Gather and organize evidence for internal and external audits, ensuring materials are accurate, complete, and available when needed.
Contribute to the improvement of security monitoring capabilities by evaluating SIEM performance and recommending enhancements to alerting and visibility.
Record and help investigate security events, malware alerts, and related incidents while supporting escalation and coordination across technical teams.
Review information security policies on a regular basis, update existing standards, and draft new documentation to address control gaps or regulatory changes.
Provide security-focused support for Windows environments and business applications, while helping maintain procedures and improve operational processes.
Work with cross-functional technology teams on security initiatives, deployments, and broader projects involving firewalls, web filtering, intrusion prevention, and data protection controls.

Requirements

At least 3 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity support, or a closely related IT security role.
Working knowledge of SIEM platforms, security monitoring practices, and incident documentation procedures.
Familiarity with endpoint and perimeter security technologies, including tools such as Microsoft Defender, endpoint protection platforms, firewalls, web filters, IDS/IPS, and data loss prevention solutions.
Understanding of security policies, logical access administration, vulnerability management, and patch remediation processes.
General knowledge of Active Directory, Windows desktops and laptops, and application support within a secured enterprise environment.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage requests independently and exercise sound judgment.
Effective verbal and written communication skills, along with a customer-focused approach to working with users and technical teams.
Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline, relevant training, or an equivalent combination of education and hands-on experience; Security+ is a plus.
