Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Manufacturing Associate for an Onsite position with a Major Pharmaceutical Company located in New Albany, OH. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves working a 2/3/2 shift (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM), including every other weekend. The ideal candidate will support the manufacturing area by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), ensuring quality and compliance, and partnering with cross-functional teams to drive improvements.
Responsibilities: - Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and applicable regulations from the Code of Federal Regulations (CFRs)
- Report any discrepancies to the Team Leader or Production Supervisor to ensure quality standards and safety
- Ensure quality and compliance through a Right First-Time mentality
- Receive and prepare components for use in manufacturing
- Feed components into equipment and perform sanitation activities
- Document appropriate paperwork, understand Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)/performance metrics, and participate in daily performance meetings
- Use pallet jacks and perform manual wrapping of pallets
- Use computer systems to support material inventory and electronic batch records
- Partner with cross-functional teams to drive improvement opportunities
- Ensure components and products are available for continuous operation
Requirements: - High school diploma/GED and 1 year of work or military experience, OR an Associate's degree
- Prior manufacturing experience or exposure
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
Pay range: up to $23.29 per hour
