AI Engineer (W2 only)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer to join our AI-driven Digital Transformation initiative focused on modernizing and automating event planning and hospitality operations. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and deploy intelligent solutions that leverage Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Machine Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP), and workflow automation technologies to transform event management processes.

The AI Engineer will play a critical role in building a platform that automatically aggregates data from multiple sources, generates comprehensive event documentation, converts client requirements into operationally ready Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), and delivers intelligent recommendations to Event Managers. This role requires expertise in AI solution architecture, cloud-based AI services, prompt engineering, data processing pipelines, and enterprise-scale application development.

Key Responsibilities

AI & Machine Learning Development

• Design, develop, and implement AI-powered solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Generative AI, and Machine Learning techniques.
• Build intelligent document processing systems capable of extracting, analyzing, and consolidating information from:
  • Historical Group Resumes
  • Client communications
  • Event documentation
  • CRM/CI data sources
  • Microsoft Excel and Word documents
• Develop AI models and workflows for automated content generation and document summarization.
• Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) frameworks to provide contextual and accurate responses.

Natural Language Processing & Document Intelligence

• Develop NLP solutions to understand event requirements, client preferences, and operational details.
• Create intelligent document parsing and classification pipelines.
• Build automated data extraction capabilities from structured and unstructured sources.
• Implement entity recognition, document summarization, semantic search, and information retrieval mechanisms.

Generative AI & Prompt Engineering

• Design and optimize prompts for content generation and workflow automation.
• Develop AI agents capable of generating:
  • Group Resumes
  • Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
  • Event summaries
  • Operational recommendations
  • Client-specific documentation
• Evaluate and improve LLM performance through prompt tuning and model optimization.

AI-Powered Recommendations & Insights

• Develop recommendation engines using historical event data and client behavior patterns.
• Build intelligent guidance systems that provide:
  • Best practice recommendations
  • Event planning suggestions
  • Operational insights
  • Personalized client recommendations
• Implement predictive analytics models to identify trends and optimize event planning processes.

Data Engineering & Integration

• Design scalable data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and processing of event-related information.
• Integrate AI services with enterprise systems, CRM platforms, document repositories, and communication channels.
• Develop APIs and microservices to support AI-driven workflows.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance standards are maintained.

Cloud & MLOps

• Deploy AI applications on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Implement MLOps best practices for model deployment, monitoring, retraining, and performance management.
• Build scalable AI infrastructure supporting enterprise-level workloads.
• Monitor model accuracy, latency, and operational performance.

Collaboration & Innovation

• Work closely with Product Managers, Event Operations teams, Architects, and Business Stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into AI-driven technical solutions.
• Stay current with emerging AI technologies, LLM advancements, and industry best practices.
• Drive continuous innovation and identify new automation opportunities across hospitality operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor''''''''s or Master''''''''s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3+ years focused on AI/ML solutions.
• Strong experience with Python and AI development frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models.
• Experience with OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or similar AI platforms.
• Strong understanding of NLP, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Information Retrieval concepts.
• Experience building RAG-based applications and vector search solutions.
• Knowledge of embeddings, semantic search, and vector databases.
