PLM Functional Tester Remote
We have an immediate opportunity for a PLM Functional Tester to join a high-visibility project supporting enterprise PLM initiatives. This position can be based in Sunnyvale, California, Austin, Texas, or Remote. Remote candidates must be able to travel to either the Austin, TX or Sunnyvale, CA office to collect company equipment. The ideal candidate will bring strong functional testing expertise along with prior experience as a PLM user or Business Analyst in complex PLM environments.
To be successful in this position, one needs to have strong experience in configuration management and change control processes, writing and validating business requirements, and supporting user acceptance testing. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing business and functional requirements, creating detailed test cases and scripts, executing functional and regression testing, identifying and tracking defects, and collaborating closely with development teams to ensure timely issue resolution. Experience providing PLM user support and working directly with business users is highly valued.
The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of SDLC, QA methodologies, and hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA or TestRail. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential. Experience with Teamcenter PLM, automated testing tools such as Selenium or QTP, and familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies will be preferred. Candidates who are proactive, resourceful, eager to learn, and confident in taking initiative will excel in this role
