Process Engineer who enjoys improving processes, working closely with production teams, and driving measurable results.
What You'll Do- Drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations using Lean and CI tools
- Conduct Gemba walks and collaborate with Production, Quality, Sales, and HR teams
- Improve process efficiency, reduce variation, cost, and cycle time
- Lead process standardization, documentation, and operator training
- Support equipment installation, process optimization, and new product/process transfers
- Analyze nonconformances (NCMs), CARs, rework, and OTD metrics to implement preventive actions
Requirements:
What We're Looking For- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Materials Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing process improvement or Kaizen experience
- Knowledge of Lean tools (8D, DMAIC, A3, 5 Why)
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and CNC equipment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work cross-functionally
- Wood, composites, or materials manufacturing experience is a plus
