- Position: MAS 9 Application Suite Consultant
- Location: 100% Remote.
- Client Agency: U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service (ARS) Property Management Unit (PMU) based in Beltsville, MD.

Description:
U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) currently hiring for GSA MAS opportunity candidate should meet the requirements below.
Requirements:
- Must have at least 10 years’ proven experience in
- Installation, upgrade, and patching of the MAS 9.1 (Maximo Application Suite) System for the Facilities department.
- WebSphere Application servers.
- MAS 9.1 Asset Management applications development for the Facilities department.
- Automation Scripting
- Conditional UI
- Working knowledge of MAS 9.1 integration technologies (object structures, services, channels, etc.).
- Deep knowledge/understanding of MAS 9.1 business objects
- Ability to formulate complex SQL queries for the Facilities department.
- Security and authentication protocols - LDAP
- Knowledge of EAM best practices and deep functional expertise with MAS 9.1 applications in a Facilities context
- Vendor should have ample experience with use of MAS 9.1 in Facilities, especially with assets, inventory management, project management, fleet management, service requests, work orders and SQL queries.
- Vendor will be expected to work with USDA BARC IT Staff, who provide access to the BARC network. All work will be performed remotely via VPN Connection. No site visits are required.
Tasks:
- Generate monthly reports with data analyses of life cycles and trends of Facilities work orders and preventative maintenance.
- Database Maintenance for the Facilities department.
- Full setup of SQL server and log backups jobs
- Set up daily index of maintenance jobs.
- Set up database consistency checks
- Provide expertise regarding MAS 9.1 implementation.
- Provide technical and procedural direction and support to key MAS 9.1 stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external resources to solve MAS 9.1 problems.
- Make requested changes to the MAS 9.1 system.
- Implement, configure, and maintain MAS 9.1 Application System.
- Perform system analysis to identify further improvements for the Facilities department.
- Discuss needs with key stakeholders on needs and solutions that fit within MAS 9.1 architecture.
- Develop best-practice technical requirements for the Facilities department.
