We are seeking an AV Technical Specialist to join our team supporting audiovisual technology across classrooms, conference spaces, and event venues at a premier academic institution in Boston. This role plays a critical part in facilitating seamless live event productions, remote learning experiences, and day-to-day meeting technology operations.

responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on audiovisual operational support for campus meetings, conferences, and live academic events.
- Onboard and prepare presenters with required event technology prior to session start times.
- Actively monitor AV systems, track operational trends, and perform minor equipment repairs as needed.
- Rapidly troubleshoot and resolve technical field issues independently to minimize disruption.
qualifications:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong background in audio/visual support, video conferencing, and live event setup.
Proven technical troubleshooting capabilities with field equipment and hardware.
Exceptional customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Prior experience supporting AV operations within a higher education or academic environment.
Previous exposure to Harvard University campus systems or tools.
Experience with ACV monitoring systems and live streaming workflows.
