Summary


Trigyn direct client has long term contract opportunity for Business Analyst in Woodbridge, NJ. The particulars of the position are as follows:

NOTE: Our client is looking for someone around 2-4 years of experience who can understand and analyze HR system business processes. Integration and migration experience are big pluses!


The HRIS Business Analyst plays a central role the deployment and maintenance of our firm's human resources platform. Acting as a bridge between HR, business partners, and the project team, this position ensures that organizational workflows and requirements are effectively represented in system configuration and functionality. The analyst helps maintain a reliable, secure, and scalable Business Administration Services environment aligned with organizational goals.

KEY DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS
1. Operate as a system Super User, offering direct assistance, guidance, and expertise to users before, during, and after go live.
2. Partner with HR and business teams to collect, document, and validate functional requirements.
3. Convert business objectives into detailed functional specifications and use cases.
4. Contribute to process analysis, gap identification, and solution design activities.
5. Ensure business processes are consistently supported by system capabilities.
6. Serve as a functional subject-matter resource across all relevant HRIS modules.
7. Work closely with module leads and subject experts to support deeper functional insights.
8. Validate configuration decisions and confirm that system behavior reflects documented requirements.
9. Support data-related activities including validation, migration preparation, and integration coordination.
10. Create and run test scenarios, data sets, and scripts across all testing phases.
11. Lead or support planning and execution of user acceptance testing efforts.
12. Identify issues, document findings, and partner with technical resources to resolve them.
13. Conduct functionality checks prior to system releases or deployments.
14. Serve as the primary resource for end-user inquiries and troubleshooting.
15. Build comprehensive knowledge of all in-scope HRIS functionality.
16. Assist with training asset creation and deliver user training as needed.
17. Provide elevated post-launch support to ensure a stable transition.
18. Identify areas where system improvements or new capabilities may add value.
19. Participate in system updates, enhancements, and continuous improvement efforts.
20. Maintain updated documentation including process workflows, job aids, and user materials.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor?s degree in Business, HR, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
2. Two to five years of experience in business analysis, HR technology, or HRIS implementation/support.
3. Practical experience with cloud-based HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, SAP SuccessFactors, Oracle HCM Cloud).
4. Strong understanding of HR processes, data models, and functional interdependencies.
5. Background in leading or coordinating UAT activities and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
6. Experience supporting HRIS deployments, enhancements, or serving as a functional expert in a production environment.
7. Familiarity with Agile or hybrid project delivery methods.
8. Experience with data migration, reporting, or system integrations.
9. Demonstrated ability to gather and document detailed requirements.
10. Hands-on experience providing functional support, training, and user assistance.
11. Knowledge of testing cycles, quality assurance practices, and defect tracking.
