Job Title: Informatica MDM Lead (Onsite)
Location: Plainsboro, NJ
Role Summary
We are looking for an experienced Informatica MDM Lead to drive Master Data Management initiatives at the client location. This role requires strong expertise in MDM architecture, data governance, and stakeholder management, with the ability to lead onsite-offshore teams and deliver scalable enterprise MDM solutions. The candidate will act as a bridge between business and technology, ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategy and enabling a single source of truth across domains such as Customer, Product and Reference data.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end design and implementation of Informatica MDM (Multidomain / Customer 360), MDM SaaS solutions
- Act as the primary onsite point of contact for stakeholders, business users, and leadership
- Drive requirements gathering, solution design, and architecture discussions
- Define and implement:
- Data models and domain strategies
- Match & merge rules
- Hierarchies and relationships
- Trust & survivorship frameworks
- Data validation and governance rules
- Oversee IDD configuration and user experience design
- Lead integration strategy with upstream/downstream systems
- Govern batch processes, real-time services, and API integrations
- Provide leadership to offshore development teams and ensure quality delivery
- Drive SIT, UAT, and Production releases with proper governance
- Monitor and resolve performance, data quality, and data integrity issues
- Establish and enforce data governance, data stewardship, and security standards
- Identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and innovation
Required Skills
Technical Skills:
- 10–15 years of overall IT experience
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Informatica MDM & MDM SaaS
- Strong expertise in:
- MDM Architecture and Solution Design
- Data modeling and domain design
- Match & Merge strategies
- Hierarchy and relationship management
- Trust & survivorship frameworks
- IDD configuration
- Strong SQL and database expertise
- Experience with Web Services (REST/SOAP) and API-led integrations
Leadership & Stakeholder Skills:
- Proven experience managing onsite-offshore delivery models
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Experience in driving design discussions and influencing decisions
- Exposure to Agile / Scrum delivery models
Optional / Preferred – Healthcare & Life Sciences (HLS)
- Experience in Healthcare / Life Sciences domain
- Familiarity with master data domains:
- HCP / HCO
- Patient
- Product / Commercial data
- Understanding of regulatory frameworks (HIPAA, GDPR)
- Experience integrating with Veeva / Salesforce ecosystems
Good to Have
- Experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
- Exposure to Snowflake and modern data platforms
