Senior ITOM Consultant (Remote - US)

Role Overview
As a Senior ITOM Consultant, you will be the primary architect and technical lead for enterprise-scale IT operations. You will focus on transforming how organizations monitor, manage, and optimize their digital infrastructure. This role is 100% remote within the United States and requires a blend of deep technical expertise in ServiceNow ITOM, process re-engineering, and executive-level stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture: Lead the design and end-to-end implementation of ITOM suites, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Cloud Provisioning.
CMDB Governance: Technical ownership of the Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring a "single source of truth" for all IT assets and their relationships.
Automation & Orchestration: Build complex workflows using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub to automate routine IT tasks and remediate infrastructure alerts.
Client Advisory: Conduct design workshops with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical user stories and long-term roadmaps.
Hybrid Cloud Management: Optimize visibility and spend across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and on-premises data centers.
Technical Qualifications
Experience: 8+ years in IT infrastructure or operations, with at least 4 years specifically focused on ServiceNow ITOM implementations.
Certifications (Required):
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in Discovery and Service Mapping.
Certifications (Preferred):
CIS – Event Management.
ITIL v4 Foundation or higher.
Scripting Skills: Advanced proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, and working with REST/SOAP APIs.
Infrastructure Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, SNMP), server OS (Windows/Linux), and virtualization (VMware, Nutanix).
Soft Skills & Remote Requirements
Leadership: Ability to mentor junior developers and lead partner delivery teams.
Communication: Exceptional ability to explain technical debt and ROI to C-suite executives.
Remote Proficiency: Proven track record of managing complex projects via Zoom, Slack, and Jira without in-person oversight.
