Digital Experience Platform (DXP) / CMS Consultant
About the Role

The DXP/CMS Consultant designs, implements, and optimizes digital experience platforms to deliver personalized, seamless customer journeys. This role blends technical expertise, content strategy, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure the selected CMS or DXP aligns with business goals. The consultant helps organizations modernize their digital ecosystems, streamline content operations, and drive measurable business outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications
Technical / Functional Skills
  • Experience with major CMS and headless CMS platforms such as Optimizely, Contentful, ContentStack, Strapi, WordPress, Drupal, or Sitecore.
  • Strong understanding of Information Architecture (IA), including sitemaps, taxonomy design, and interaction design.
  • Hands-on experience with content migration (upgrades, refreshes, re-platforming, legacy modernization).
  • Knowledge of migration tools, AI-based content and asset migration utilities, and scripting for automation.
  • Understanding of SEO best practices and the ability to advise on strategies that improve visibility, trust, and search performance.
  • Integration experience with REST APIs, Groovy scripts, ETL processes, SPA/PWA frameworks, and GraphQL.
  • Familiarity with product-specific APIs and integration layers such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, and Apigee.
  • Expertise in dynamic content management and CMS implementation, including system selection, configuration, and user training.
  • Experience with web and content analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, DOMO) to measure performance and inform content strategy.


Responsibilities
  • Design and implement digital experience platforms and CMS solutions that support personalized customer experiences.
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and digital strategies.
  • Lead content migration initiatives, ensuring accuracy, quality, and alignment with business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, engineering, marketing, and product.
  • Optimize digital platforms for performance, scalability, and usability.
  • Provide guidance on SEO, analytics, and content governance to improve discoverability and engagement.
  • Support both proactive and reactive sales efforts by identifying opportunities and delivering value-based recommendations.
  • Engage with clients to understand needs, present solutions, and build long-term relationships.

  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commercial mindset with a track record of growing accounts through consultative conversations.
  • General managerial or team-lead experience (if applicable).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
