Position: Microsoft Windows Systems Architect

Job Summary:
This position will be a technical lead for our backend infrastructure services. These services or systems include areas within the Microsoft Services arena including but not limited to Active Directory (AD) services including ADFS, Group Policy, Distributed File Services, Azure subscriptions, DHCP, and networking protocols and services. This person will be responsible for third (3rd ) level technical support functions for the Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), monitoring tools, multi-factor authentication, storage and backup, Power Shell scripting, and numerous customized off the shelf applications that have been implemented at DCF. A high-level understanding of networking protocols and network connectivity will be required.
The candidate must demonstrate both technical depth and the ability to lead modernization initiatives, ensuring the agency's infrastructure evolves strategically by partnering with external agency DOA and other third-party vendors, while wearing multiple hats across team management, project management, and hands on technical execution.
