Job Description/Responsibilities:
Looking for a Production Support Software Engineer who will be responsible for the analysis, design, code, testing, and documentation of a major project, combining the expertise of banking knowledge with the importance of conceptualizing the programs to be developed based on specifications.
- Analyze the requirements at hand of a major project initiative for the bank and design the better solution aligned
- Create processes/programs to cover the needs and requirements in the analysis phase
- Unit test aligned with the better practices of the institution and do the revisions to eliminate errors
- Design and implement tests that will help in the end-to-end quality of major deliverables
- Analyze testing results and report issues found
- Review test results with the team, complete final program documentation
- Prepare documentation to follow the change management process to deploy the processes/programs in production environment
- Participate in the post-implementation of production processes/programs, ensuring delivery of information required for the project
- Iterate as many times as required according to the needs of the project, to guarantee the delivery of the information
Must-Have Requirements:
- 5 years of experience working as a Software Engineer
- Operating System: LINUX, UNIX
- Languages: Java, Python, C, JCLs
- Scripting language: Shell Script, PowerShell
- DB: Oracle
- Microfocus, Eclipse
