Seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the Information Security Risk Management function within Acquisitions and Divestitures. This individual will lead security workstreams for complex transactions, owning planning, coordination, tracking, governance, and stakeholder communication.

The ideal candidate can establish structure in fast-moving environments and keep security activities aligned with transaction milestones. Deep technical expertise is not required, but candidates must understand cybersecurity concepts and translate requirements into clear plans, actions, and decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead information security activities throughout the acquisition and divestiture lifecycle, from due diligence and pre-close planning through integration, separation, and post-close execution.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and action items.
  • Coordinate security, infrastructure, application, legal, privacy, records management, eDiscovery, business, and third-party teams.
  • Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, daily stand-ups, and leadership reviews.
  • Establish clear ownership, deadlines, escalation paths, and decision points.
  • Identify delivery risks and drive timely mitigation or escalation.
  • Prepare status reports, executive summaries, meeting notes, dashboards, and decision materials.
  • Track security requirements and deliverables against transaction and business milestones.
  • Maintain consistent project governance, documentation, and reporting across the A&D portfolio.
  • Use AI and automation tools responsibly to improve planning, analysis, documentation, and reporting.
  • Adapt to changes in transaction scope, priorities, timelines, and requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of project management experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, or information security risk management/cybersecurity activities.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional IT projects.
  • Strong project management skills covering scope, schedule, dependencies, risks, issues, actions, and stakeholders.
  • Experience as a Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Delivery Lead in Agile, hybrid, or traditional environments.
  • Strong leadership, facilitation, written communication, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities, and deadlines.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office and common project collaboration/reporting tools.
  • Practical understanding of generative AI, business applications, and responsible-use controls.
  • Ability to understand information security terminology, processes, and requirements without serving as the technical subject-matter expert.
  • Strong judgment, attention to detail, and follow-through.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP or other relevant accreditations.
  • Experience with cybersecurity, information security risk management, privacy, compliance, or technology integration.
  • Familiarity with security assessments, identity and access management, infrastructure separation, data transfer, application disposition, third-party risk, and post-close remediation.
  • Experience developing portfolio dashboards, executive reporting, or automated project management workflows.
