Role Summary

The onsite FICO Lead is the SPOC for the entire Park and Post solution. This person owns the functional design end to end, owns the role design and role-to-user mapping, and is the single face of the delivery team to Client's Finance, Controllership and IT stakeholders. Every design decision thresholds, tier routing, delegation rules, role boundaries is either made or ratified by this role with functional workflow design with threshold Amounts.

Day to Day Job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis)

• Run requirement workshops with Finance and Controllership across all multiple company codes (US, Canada, Hong Kong, Mexico) and convert the outcome into a signed-off functional design. Define Threshold values per company code, country and department, including any lower local limits, and specify the Z-table structure and effective-dating behavior for workflow. Design the approver hierarchy model: the company code / department / tier ? position ? user mapping, and the template in which Client will supply the data. Own role design and mapping define newly defined roles what must and must not contain and decide which authorization activities are withdrawn from existing GLSU and FI roles. Produce the functional specifications that the ABAP/Workflow consultant builds from, and the role specification the GRC consultant builds from. Secure the threshold values, approver hierarchy and initial delegation records the schedule carries no float for late inputs. Own FI configuration for the solution and act as the functional authority on every build question from the ABAP/Workflow and GRC consultants. Review and approve the tier determination logic, the currency translation treatment, and the agent determination rules against the blueprint. Walk through the role-to-user mapping with Client security and Finance and resolve every park-and-post conflict identified by the GRC risk analysis. Own the SIT and UAT scope, approve test scripts prepared offshore, and chair defect triage. Coordinate business validators across all four countries; nominate and confirm them before. Own cutover readiness role assignment, threshold table load, hierarchy load, and the go/no-go decision input. Lead hyper care from onsite, own the daily triage call, and hand over to Client support.

Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each)

• Minimum 10+ years of SAP FICO experience, with at least 3 full-lifecycle implementations or major enhancements in SAP ECC FI (GL, document parking and posting, document types, posting periods, currency and exchange-rate configuration). Demonstrable experience designing approval workflows in FI document parking release, amount-based release strategies, workflow variants at company code level. Strong working knowledge of SAP FI authorization objects and the difference between park and post activities; able to specify roles precisely enough for a security consultant to build them without interpretation. Prior experience with GLSU or an equivalent Excel-to-SAP journal upload tool. Multi-country, multi-currency and multi-company-code FI experience; comfortable with cross-company documents and foreign currency translation rules. Proven client-facing SPOC experience able to run workshops with Controllers and VPs, push back on scope, and hold a design decision under pressure. Experience working with an offshore delivery model and coordinating a follow-the-sun handover.
