Position Summary
We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer with strong expertise in user experience, user interface design, and Figma to support the design of digital products within a large Banking & Financial Services environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of UX principles, user-centered design, and modern UI practices, with the ability to translate business requirements into intuitive user experiences, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with Product Managers, Business Analysts, and Technology teams to understand business and user requirements.
Design end-to-end user experiences, including user flows, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI mockups.
Create and maintain scalable design systems, reusable components, and design standards in Figma.
Develop intuitive, accessible, and responsive user interfaces for web and mobile applications.
Conduct UX research, usability evaluations, and incorporate user feedback into design improvements.
Present design concepts and rationale to business and technical stakeholders, incorporating feedback as needed.
Ensure consistency across products by following established design guidelines and best practices.
Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
Required Qualifications
10+ years of experience in UX/UI Design with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design.
Expert-level proficiency in Figma, including components, Auto Layout, variants, prototyping, and design systems.
Strong understanding of UX methodologies, user-centered design, information architecture, interaction design, and usability principles.
Experience creating wireframes, user journeys, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups.
Experience designing responsive web and mobile applications.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile product environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience designing digital products within Banking, Financial Services, or other highly regulated industries.
Familiarity with Miro, Zeplin, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end development concepts to facilitate collaboration with engineering teams.
Experience contributing to or maintaining enterprise design systems.
