Quality Control Technician - Medical Device Manufacturing
Location: Bedford, MA
Pay Rate: $23.00-$27.00/hour
Shift: Monday-Friday, 12:00 PM-8:00 PM
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to support medical device manufacturing and inspection operations. This onsite role is responsible for performing dimensional and visual inspections of medical device components and finished products to ensure compliance with strict quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect medical device components and finished products according to documented procedures
Perform dimensional and visual inspections using calipers, micrometers, comparators, and other precision measurement tools
Identify, document, and report nonconforming materials and quality issues
Maintain accurate product traceability and inspection records
Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications
Support cleanroom and manufacturing requirements by maintaining organized work areas
Communicate inspection findings with supervisors and cross-functional teams
Qualifications:
Experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, lab, or cleanroom environments preferred
Proficiency with precision measuring equipment and inspection techniques
Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation
Experience with non-conformance reports (NCRs) and quality documentation preferred
Basic Microsoft Excel skills required
Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
