Cloud Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with 1–4 years of experience to join our engineering team in the United States. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, deployment, automation, and cloud-based services.

The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud environments while collaborating with engineering and IT teams to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure using AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Configure and manage cloud services, virtual machines, storage, networking, and databases.
• Implement infrastructure automation using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Monitor cloud environments, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and application deployment processes.
• Implement cloud security best practices, access controls, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with software development and DevOps teams.
• Manage cloud resources, availability, and cost optimization.
• Develop scripts and automation tools using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational procedures.

Basic Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, DevOps, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts, networking, and security.
• Familiarity with Linux and Windows operating systems.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of Git and CI/CD practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar IaC tools.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Prometheus.
• Understanding of networking concepts, including VPCs, subnets, DNS, and load balancers.
• Familiarity with IAM, cloud security, and access management.
• Knowledge of SQL and cloud databases.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cloud Computing, or a related field.
• Equivalent practical experience may be considered.
