A leading global airline is seeking a
Senior Product Designer to support its Customer Experience and UX organization on a major in-flight connectivity initiative. This role will focus on designing and enhancing the
live streaming and digital entertainment experience available to passengers during flights, working on a high-visibility project tied to next-generation satellite connectivity.
The designer will partner closely with
product managers, engineers, and fellow designers to deliver seamless digital experiences across web and mobile platforms used by millions of travelers. This role requires a strong visual design sensibility and the ability to integrate design solutions within complex product ecosystems.
This is a
long-term contract opportunity with no defined end date, supporting a large-scale consumer platform in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.
Key Responsibilities - Design intuitive, visually polished digital experiences supporting in-flight connectivity and streaming services
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and UX teams to bring design concepts into production
- Contribute to design system evolution, visual consistency, and usability improvements across digital touchpoints
- Translate complex technical requirements into clear, user-centered design solutions
- Work within cross-functional teams to ensure designs integrate smoothly with existing product platforms and services
- Qualifications
- Strong experience in product design for consumer-facing digital platforms
- Excellent visual design and UI integration skills
- Experience collaborating closely with product management and engineering teams
- Ability to work within established design systems while improving and expanding them
- Experience designing within complex digital ecosystems or large-scale products
- Experience with streaming platforms, media products, or high-traffic consumer applications is highly desirable.
Compensation & Benefits - Hours: 40 hours per week
- Location: Remote, HQ in Chicago, IL
- Work Authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (no H-1B, no C2C)
