Software Engineer (Contingent Resource)

About the Role

As a Software Engineer in this contingent assignment, you will contribute to high-impact, large-scale engineering efforts that support complex business and technical objectives. You will analyze and solve multifaceted engineering challenges, partner with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure solutions align with organizational standards, compliance expectations, and delivery commitments.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead and consult on complex, large-scale software engineering initiatives with broad organizational impact.
  • Review and evaluate technical challenges that require deep analysis across multiple dimensions, including ambiguous or unprecedented factors.
  • Develop solutions for intricate engineering problems by leveraging a strong understanding of functional requirements, policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks.
  • Collaborate strategically with client and internal teams to influence technical direction and ensure alignment across stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience, demonstrated through professional work, consulting, military experience, training, or academic background.
  • Hands-on experience with Big Data technologies, including:
    • Spark
    • Scala
    • Python
    • Autosys
    • Git
