Description
We are looking for an Infrastructure Project Manager where you will play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of infrastructure projects, coordinating across teams, and managing timelines and budgets effectively. If you have a background in renewable energy or utilities and excel in vendor management and project coordination, we encourage you to apply.
This is a remote, long-term contract position.
Responsibilities:
Oversee infrastructure projects, ensuring repairs and outages are handled efficiently and effectively.
Serve as a liaison between engineering and operations teams, facilitating clear communication and collaboration.
Monitor and manage project timelines and budgets to ensure goals are met within set parameters.
Coordinate the procurement and liquidation of spare parts, engaging with vendors to meet project needs.
Review purchase orders, track their status, and ensure proper follow-up with relevant teams.
Manage day-to-day project coordination to ensure smooth operations and address logistical challenges.
Utilize Slack and other tools to maintain clear communication across cross-functional teams.
Support the execution of renewable energy or utilities-related initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Provide detailed project updates and reports to leadership, enabling informed decision-making.
Requirements
Minimum of 5 years of experience in infrastructure project management or a related field.
Expertise in handling structured cabling and managing cross-functional projects.
Strong background in renewable energy or utilities industries.
Proven ability to coordinate projects and manage vendor relationships effectively.
Proficiency with Slack and other project management tools.
Excellent communication skills to facilitate collaboration between diverse teams.
Demonstrated experience in tracking budgets and timelines for large-scale projects.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
