Location: Lincoln, NE (Onsite 5 Days)

Duration: Contract 1+ Year

Job Description:

Seeking an experienced Application Developer to support the design, development, and maintenance of enterprise web applications that support financial and operational systems.

This role requires a strong background in .NET, C#, API development, and enterprise integrations, with specific experience integrating with Workday. The ideal candidate is comfortable working across the full software development lifecycle in an Agile/Scrum environment and is proactive, forward thinking, and able to take ownership of projects and lead technical initiatives.

The candidate will play a key role in helping company evolve its technology landscape by introducing innovative ideas, improving development efficiency, and leveraging modern development practices, including AI-driven tools and intelligent automation, where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain .NET based web applications
  • Build and support Workday integrations and API based solutions
  • Develop and consume RESTful APIs and web services
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs and solutions
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, and Sprint Reviews
  • Ensure adherence to coding standards, security guidelines, and best practices
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and enhance existing applications
  • Support deployment activities and ongoing system maintenance
  • Minimum Qualifications (Required Skills)
  • 7+ years of experience in software development


Strong experience with:
  • .NET Framework, .NET Core, and ASP.NET
  • C#
  • ASP.NET MVC and/or Web API development
  • RESTful API development and integrations
  • Hands-on experience with Workday integrations (APIs, web services, or data integration)


Experience with:
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Angular and/or React.js
  • ADO.NET and/or Entity Framework
  • Experience working with SQL and relational databases
  • Experience using Azure DevOps or similar development tools
  • Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Strong understanding of full stack development (front end, middle tier, back end)
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
  • Experience with financial or accounting systems
  • Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
  • Experience using Telerik UI components
  • Experience with SSRS reporting
  • Experience designing and building secure ASP.NET applications
  • Experience with enterprise system integrations


Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field OR
  • Equivalent combination of education and 7+ years of relevant professional experience
