Summary

We are seeking an experienced .NET Web Developer with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative team environment but can also work independently with minimal supervision to support and build public-facing web applications.

Position: IT Contractor Software Development & Web Application Support

Location: Dauphin County (Hybrid Minimum 2 days per week onsite)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

Interview Process: Web Cam or In-Person

Core Skills & Requirements

Backend Development: Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Framework, and .NET Core.
CMS Expertise: Hands-on experience with Content Management System (CMS) development, customization, deployment, and maintenance.
Database Management: Solid experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, database design, and Entity Framework / EF Core.
Frontend Development: UI skills using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frontend frameworks for responsive, accessible web design.
DevOps & Tools: Familiarity with Git/TFS, Azure DevOps (ADO), CI/CD pipelines, and automated deployment processes.
Testing & Logging: Experience with software testing methodologies (Unit, Integration, System testing) and logging frameworks (e.g., NLog, Serilog).

Highly Desired (Bonus Skills)

Experience with Azure Cloud Services & Microsoft 365 integrations.
Knowledge of SEO best practices and website performance optimization.
Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment.
