About the Job- We are looking for an experienced Snowflake Developer to join one of our enterprise client engagements. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Snowflake, SQL programming, schemas, tables, Snowflake ETL/ELT along with experience working in fast-paced enterprise environments.
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Snowflake Developer with 8+ years of IT experience and strong hands-on expertise in Snowflake development, SQL programming, and Snowflake data warehouse implementation. The ideal candidate should have deep experience building, optimizing, and supporting Snowflake-native solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Snowflake data warehouse solutions
- Develop and manage Snowflake databases, schemas, tables, views, tasks, streams, and stages
- Create and optimize Snowflake stored procedures, UDFs, and SQL scripts
- Develop and maintain Snowflake ETL/ELT workflows and data transformation logic
- Implement Snowpipe and automated data loading processes
- Perform query tuning and Snowflake performance optimization for large datasets
- Configure and manage role-based access control (RBAC), security, and data governance within Snowflake
- Monitor Snowflake usage, troubleshoot performance issues, and support production environments
- Work with business and technical teams to understand and implement data requirements
Required Skills
- 8+ years of IT experience with strong Snowflake development expertise
- Deep hands-on experience with Snowflake SQL development
- Experience with Snowflake objects including:
- Tables
- Views
- Tasks
- Streams
- Stages
- Stored Procedures
- UDFs
- Snowpipe
- Strong experience in data modeling and data transformation within Snowflake
- Expertise in performance tuning and query optimization in Snowflake
- Experience implementing Snowflake security and RBAC
- Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production support skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Preferred
- SnowPro Certification preferred
- Experience working on large-scale enterprise Snowflake implementations is a plus
