- Work Location: Charlotte, NC 28202 (Hybrid - 3 days onsite: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday)
- Assignment Type: Contract
- Contract Duration: 6 Months (Extension Possible)

Pay - $55 - $65 on W2
Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer with experience in both front-end and back-end development using modern technologies. The ideal candidate will support scalable, user-focused applications on cloud platforms and will be responsible for developing software solutions as well as troubleshooting, debugging, repairing, and upgrading complex software applications.
This role requires collaborative problem-solving, attention to design, and a strong focus on product quality while working closely with team members in a shared development environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate application storyboards, stories, and use cases into functional software solutions
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and develop solutions to resolve them
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in computer science
- 5-7 years of related work experience in software engineering
- Strong experience with JavaScript including React.js and TypeScript
- Proficiency in Python development
- Experience using Visual Studio Code IDE
- Experience working with GitHub in a shared development environment
- Working knowledge of Java and C#
- Experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services) services and cloud-based development
- Knowledge of Windows Server, Windows Workstation, and basic Linux environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Django framework
- Knowledge of Tomcat web services
- Experience with CI/CD automation pipelines
- Experience with PostgreSQL databases
- Exposure to Progressive Web Applications (PWAs)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in team environments
Work Environment
- Hybrid schedule: 3 days onsite and 2 days remote
- Candidates should be located within a reasonable commuting distance to Charlotte, NC
