Job Description:

Platform Architect (AWS) Overview:

• We are seeking an experienced Cloud Architect (12+years) to lead the design, implementation, and management of Cloud Solutions,infrastructure and services on AWS.
• Experienced with Landing Zone and Control Tower.
• Candidate should possess a strong ability to connect with global cloud teams, build and manage high-performing technical teams, drive strategic alliances, and develop innovative
• solutions.
• They should excel at engaging customers during the pre-sales phase to articulate the value of cloud solutions effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cloud Architecture Design and Implementation:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS.

• Leverage cloud-native services to deliver innovative solutions aligned with business goals.

• Drive the adoption of cutting-edge technologies, serverless computing, and containerization.

• Proficiency in cloud automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.

• Hands-on experience with serverless architectures, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and cloud-native services

Collaboration with Global Teams:

• Collaborate with global cloud teams to ensure alignment on best practices and strategies.

• Share knowledge, expertise, and resources across regions to maintain a unified cloud strategy.

• Act as a bridge between regional and global teams, ensuring seamless integration of efforts.

Team Building and Leadership:

• Build and manage a high-performing technical team specializing in cloud architecture and operations.

• Mentor and guide team members, fostering growth and expertise in cloud technologies.

• Create a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the team. Solution Development:

• Develop and deliver cloud-based solutions that meet customer requirements and business objectives.

FinOps (Cloud Financial Operations):

• Implement and promote practices for optimizing cloud costs and improving financial visibility. Monitor and manage cloud spending, ensuring adherence to budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

• Collaborate with stakeholders balance performance and cost effectiveness in cloud resource usage.

Cloud Security:

• Enforce security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM), encryption, and compliance with regulations like GDPR and SOC 2.

• Conduct security assessments and implement measures to address vulnerabilities

. • Industry Trends and Innovation:

• Stay updated with advancements in cloud technology and incorporate them in the architecture.

• Advocate for innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, scalability, and security.

Documentation and Standards:

• Maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architecture and operational

standards. Define and enforce coding and architectural best practices to ensure consistency and quality
