Summary

Senior Front Office Business Analyst – FICC (Fixed Income, Currencies & Commodities)

Seeking a Senior Front Office Business Analyst with 10+ years of experience supporting FICC trading businesses, with deep expertise in derivatives, interest rate swaps, FX, and fixed income products. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of front-office trade capture, pricing, valuation, and risk workflows across trading platforms and post-trade ecosystems.

This role will partner closely with traders, sales, operations, and technology teams to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements; translate requirements into well-defined Jira epics and user stories; and drive delivery within an Agile framework. The candidate should have hands-on experience with pricing and valuation platforms, trade lifecycle management, market data integration, and front-office booking systems. Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to bridge business and technology teams while ensuring solutions align with strategic trading and operational objectives.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years of Business Analysis experience within Capital Markets, preferably in Front Office environments.
  • Deep knowledge of FICC products, including interest rate swaps, cross-currency swaps, FX derivatives, fixed income securities, repos, and other OTC derivatives.
  • Strong understanding of trade capture, pricing, valuation, risk, and trade lifecycle processes.
  • Experience working with front-office trading platforms, pricing engines, and valuation tools.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into Jira epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborating with business stakeholders, product owners, developers, QA teams, and architects.
  • Strong data analysis, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory, operational, and post-trade impacts across the FICC lifecycle is highly desirable.
