Job Summary – Technical Delivery Manager– Investment Technology
- Act as the primary coordinator for business-as-usual and project activities within Investment Operations Technology.
- Serve as the first point of contact for diagnosing and coordinating resolution of data and system issues, ensuring timely closure and adherence to service levels.
- Lead cross-functional delivery by aligning Investment Operations, Technology teams, and dependent systems, facilitating clear communication and stakeholder management.
- Organize and conduct daily standups, sprint planning, and Scrum ceremonies to drive progress and remove delivery blockers across data engineering workstreams.
- Oversee JIRA governance, including ticket creation, backlog management, workflow alignment, and prioritization to ensure efficient delivery and improved throughput.
- Develop operational dashboards, monitor KPIs, and provide regular reporting and actionable insights to leadership.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency, quality, and scalability of technology delivery operations.
- Leverage strong domain knowledge in investment operations and technical skills (e.g., Oracle SQL) to support analysis, issue resolution, and ongoing delivery activities.
- Foster collaborative partnerships with operations and technology managers to drive coordinated outcomes and manage escalations effectively.
Qualifications Summary:
- 10+ years’ experience in capital markets project delivery, ideally in buy-side asset management.
- Deep understanding of investment operations workflows and data structures.
- Proficient in Oracle SQL for data analysis and troubleshooting.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Effective in fast-paced, collaborative, and data-driven environments.
