We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-acuity care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced intensive care environment. The RN will perform advanced patient assessments, operate life-support equipment, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality critical care.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care in Neuro, Medical, Surgical/Trauma, and Cardiothoracic ICUs
Monitor patients with conditions such as stroke, sepsis, respiratory failure, CHF, trauma, and post-operative complications
Operate advanced critical care equipment including ventilators, IABP, CRRT systems (Prismaflex / PRISMA / NxStage), ventriculostomy & ICP monitoring systems, and targeted temperature management devices
Administer and titrate critical care medications and IV infusions
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement care plans
Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC EMR
Float to other units as needed (excluding Behavioral Health and ED unless holding patients)
Required Qualifications:
2+ years of ICU experience (MICU, SICU, CTICU, Trauma ICU, or Neuro ICU)
Experience with Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
Experience using EPIC EMR
Prior travel nursing experience
Ability to manage high-acuity ICU patients and advanced critical care equipment
Preferred Experience:
Cardiac or Heart Surgery ICU experience
Charge Nurse experience
Education:
ADN or BSN in Nursing
Certifications:
BLS – American Heart Association
ACLS – American Heart Association
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
