We are searching for a dynamic, forward-thinking, and experienced Permanent Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a leading organization in the Manufacturing industry, where you will play a pivotal role in driving our manufacturing processes to the next level. You will be responsible for the development and improvement of manufacturing processes, systems, and operations. The ideal candidate will be a problem-solver with a strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and a flair for 3D CAD Design.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing systems, utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards.
2. Apply lean manufacturing techniques to design, specify, and validate world-class manufacturing processes to achieve cost, quality, and capacity goals.
3. Utilize 3D CAD (SolidWorks) and AutoCAD to design, test, and validate tools and fixtures for improved manufacturing processes.
4. Analyze manufacturing process flows continually for the enhancement of quality, cost reduction, and throughput.
5. Collaborate with design engineering and production staff to ensure manufacturability of new designs and smooth production ramp up.
6. Provide manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs, reviewing production schedules, and estimating future requirements.
7. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role.
3. Proficient in 3D CAD Design, specifically SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
4. Demonstrated experience in lean manufacturing and process improvement.
5. Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and systems, with a focus on quality and efficiency.
6. Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
7. Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
8. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
9. Strong desire to be hands-on in the factory and on the production floor.
10. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
