Title: Program Manager I
Duration: 34 month contract

Description:
The Program Manager is responsible for leading, planning, executing, and finalizing departmental and organizational projects. This includes defining project objectives, overseeing quality control throughout the project lifecycle, and ensuring clear communication with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
· Project Leadership & Planning:
o Lead, plan, schedule, track, and manage project deliverables, goals, and milestones.
o Create detailed work plans identifying all necessary activities, resources (time, money, equipment), and objectives.
o Develop and communicate project scope, timeline, resource requirements, and assumptions.
o Map complex dependencies across workstreams to ensure alignment.
· Execution & Management:
o Provide day-to-day direction and oversight for project teams.
o Monitor progress against goals and adjust plans or resources to meet customer needs.
o Manage project budgets, track expenses, and monitor resource utilization.
o Implement review and quality assurance procedures to ensure successful execution.
o Identify and track tasks to completion, ensuring blockers are resolved.
o Create and execute project plans, monitoring timelines and resource allocation.
· Communication & Stakeholder Management:
o Coordinate clear communication with all stakeholders impacted by the project''s scope, budget, risk, and resources.
o Proactively report on project status (metrics, scope, schedule) to leadership and team members.
· Risk & Issue Management:
o Develop strategies for risk mitigation and create contingency plans.
o Identify, resolve, and escalate functional, quality, and timeline issues as they arise
Minimum Qualifications
· Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
· Experience: Minimum of 5 years of project management experience, with a preference for software projects.
· Skills:
o Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project).
o Intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
o Experience with JIRA, Confluence, and Teams.
· Certifications: A Project Management Professional (PMP) is preferred.
