Summary

Permanent US Resident Only

***Candidates must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time, permanent resident basis. StaffRight Associates and our clients do not provide visa sponsorship for this position.

The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates has partnered with an elite, highly capitalized, late-stage AI infrastructure innovator to expand their premier enterprise engineering team. This high-impact role sits at the intersection of sophisticated generative AI development and complex enterprise strategy. As an AI Field Engineer, you will translate ambitious GenAI concepts into highly scalable, production-ready systems for some of the world''s most sophisticated organizations.

Backed by substantial funding from top-tier investors and growing rapidly, this organization offers an exceptional environment to drive real technical ownership and influence a cutting-edge industry roadmap.

What You’ll Do

  • Drive comprehensive technical discovery and architecture scoping sessions with premier enterprise clients to architect robust proofs-of-concept (POCs).

  • Deploy full-scale, end-to-end machine learning integrations directly within client environments, expertly navigating architecture, compliance, and infrastructure bottlenecks.

  • Champion advanced model selection, optimization, and fine-tuning strategies (including SFT, DPO, and RFT) to seamlessly guide customers from initial experimentation to enterprise-grade production.

  • Cultivate enduring technical relationships across highly complex corporate accounts, managing diverse stakeholder interests and mitigating friction to accelerate project momentum.

  • Synthesize recurring enterprise deployment patterns and field challenges into actionable feedback for internal product and core engineering teams.

What You Bring

  • Command 3+ years of technical experience in customer-facing AI/ML engineering, systems architecture, or machine learning infrastructure environments.

  • Demonstrate a proven history of shipping production-grade AI/ML code to live user environments rather than delivering high-level advisory presentations or slide decks.

  • Utilize expert-level Python capabilities along with hands-on proficiency with GPU utilization, major cloud ecosystems (AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure), and container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes.

  • Architect open-model deployment mechanisms and training workflows, leveraging deep familiarity with modern serving frameworks and advanced fine-tuning methodologies.

  • Communicate complex engineering trade-offs with executive-level presence, easily pivoting between deep technical debugging with developers and strategic presentations for C-suite leadership.

  • Thrive in high-velocity startup or field-oriented environments, focusing heavily on open-model infrastructure over basic closed-model API integrations.
