Job Title - Oracle ERP Consultant   Finance 

Location - VA

Hybrid -2 to 3 Day's Onsite 

Full Time 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials modules including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Expenses.
• Configure and support Oracle EPM modules such as Planning, Budgeting,Capital projects and Workforce budgets.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from public sector clients and translate them into Oracle ERP solutions aligned with government financial policies.
• Develop and maintain cross-validation rules, chart of accounts structures, intercompany accounting setups, and reporting hierarchies.
• Support FBDI data migration, integration design, and data conversion activities for Oracle Fusion and EPM implementations.
• Collaborate with technical teams on Oracle BI Publisher reports, OTBI analytics, Financial Reporting Studio reports, and Smart View configurations.
• Provide post-implementation support, user training, and knowledge transfer to client
• Participate in system testing (SIT, UAT) and defect resolution
• Stay current with Oracle quarterly updates and advise clients on feature adoption and upgrade planning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle ERP implementations, with a focus on Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials and/or EPM modules.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with public sector clients (federal, state, or local government agencies).
• Strong understanding of government accounting standards including GASB, federal fund accounting, and OMB compliance requirements.
• Proven experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud configuration: General Ledger, Subledger Accounting, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, and Expenses.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Cloud: Planning and Budgeting and Narrative reporting
• Strong knowledge of chart of accounts design, cross-validation rules, and financial reporting structures.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work with both technical and non-technical audiences.
