Description
We are looking for a skilled Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will play a critical part in providing technical assistance to both in-office and remote staff, ensuring smooth operations across hardware, software, and systems. This position is ideal for someone with a strong problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to systems, software, and hardware.
Deliver hands-on support to employees, both in-person and remotely, addressing a variety of technical needs.
Perform hardware maintenance, including repairs, replacements, and upkeep of equipment such as printers and toner.
Reinstall and configure software while managing access to hardware and software licenses.
Administer user accounts by handling password resets, setting up new accounts, decommissioning users, and implementing policies.
Manage and resolve tickets in ServiceDesk Plus, collaborating closely with the managing engineer and maintaining accurate documentation.
Provide technical support for tools such as Outlook, Zoom, and other end-user applications.
Address and resolve hardware-related issues for desktops, laptops, and printers.
Adapt to periods of increased ticket volume while maintaining efficiency and service quality.
Requirements
A minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-volume service desk environment, handling approximately 12 tickets per day.
Proficiency in supporting end-user applications such as Outlook and Zoom.
Hands-on experience with hardware troubleshooting for devices like desktops, laptops, and printers.
Familiarity with user provisioning, access management, and Active Directory.
Knowledge of ticketing systems, with ServiceDesk Plus experience being a plus.
Strong skills in Windows 10 and basic troubleshooting.
Excellent communication abilities to assist non-technical users effectively.
Capacity to manage workload efficiently during peak periods or high-demand situations.
