RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client is seeking a Frontend Developer for a long-term contract. This candidate needs to be located in Salt Lake City, UT as this is a hybrid schedule.
Summary:
This role will focus on delivering high-quality user interfaces, maintaining excellent test coverage, and collaborating within an Agile/Scrum environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about clean code, accessibility best practices, and team-driven development.
Responsibilities:
* Design, develop, and maintain Angular-based user interfaces
* Build and support web applications with a strong emphasis on accessibility, including compatibility with screen readers and adherence to modern accessibility guidelines (e.g., WCAG)
* Write and maintain automated tests using Test Driven Development (TDD) practices, with a focus on high code coverage and integration testing
* Collaborate within an Agile/SCRUM team, actively participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
* Use Atlassian tools such as Jira and Confluence for sprint tracking, documentation, and team collaboration
* Manage source code using GitHub and follow GitFlow branching strategies
* Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards and processes
REQUIREMENTS:
* Hands-on experience building Angular user interfaces
* Strong experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), including integration testing and maintaining high levels of code coverage
* Experience working in Agile/SCRUM development environments
* Proficiency with Atlassian tools (Jira and Confluence)
* Demonstrated experience designing and implementing accessible web applications, including support for screen readers and modern accessibility standards
* Experience using GitHub with GitFlow for version control
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
