This role demands proactive ownership of deliverables that are subject to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), where missed deadlines or process missteps can result in penalties. The ideal candidate will be a strategic executor who actively drives resolution-not just a passive coordinator.

Your role in our mission

  • End-to-End Work Item Management: Oversee and track CTNs, Findings, Defects, Change Requests (CRs), and Change Orders (COs) across multiple functional teams.
  • SLA Compliance: Ensure all work items meet SLA timelines and process requirements; escalate risks and blockers early.

  • Active Leadership: Take initiative to drive work items to closure-engaging stakeholders, removing roadblocks, and ensuring follow-through.
  • Reporting & Communication: Provide timely updates to leadership and stakeholders; maintain dashboards and documentation for transparency.
  • Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance workflow and SLA adherence.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).
  • 7+ years of project management experience, preferably in healthcare or managed care environments.
  • Strong understanding of SLA frameworks and operational risk.
  • Proven ability to manage complex workstreams and cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • PMP or equivalent certification strongly preferred.

What you should expect in this role

  • Remote position (US only)
  • Opportunities to travel through your work (0-10%)
  • Video cameras must be used during all interviews, as well as during the initial week of orientation
  • The deadline to submit applications for this posting is 3/30/2026

The pay range for this position is $69,400.00 - $99,200.00 per year, however, the base pay offered may vary depending on geographic region, internal equity, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. Put your passion to work at Gainwell. You'll have the opportunity to grow your career in a company that values work flexibility, learning, and career development. All salaried, full-time candidates are eligible for our generous, flexible vacation policy, a 401(k) employer match, comprehensive health benefits , and educational assistance. We also have a variety of leadership and technical development academies to help build your skills and capabilities.
