Project Manager - CCN NG / VFMP / Payer EDI Support Services

Description:
Seeking a highly motivated and self-directed Project Manager to provide oversight and coordination across VA/VHA initiatives supporting Community Care Network Next Generation (CCN NG) technical readiness, Veterans Financial Management Program (VFMP) modernization, and Payer EDI efforts. The Project Manager will lead planning and execution across multiple task areas, ensure scope and schedule adherence, coordinate activities with VA leads and integrated project teams (IPTs), and provide consistent status reporting. The ideal candidate brings broad knowledge of VA systems and processes, excels at cross-functional coordination, and can drive delivery in a complex federal healthcare environment.
This position is contingent upon contract award.
Job Responsibilities:
Provide overall contract project oversight to ensure teams meet scope, schedule, and quality requirements.
Organize, direct, and coordinate planning and execution of tasks and support activities across all workstreams.
Coordinate across roles and workstreams; prioritize work based on VA lead input; guide teams on the most efficient way to complete tasks.
Coordinate activities with VA project management support for CCN NG, VFMP, and Payer EDI initiatives.
Develop and maintain the Contractor Project Management Plan (CPMP), including approach, timeline, tools, milestones, risks, and resourcing.
Ensure timely and accurate monthly status reporting, including accomplishments, planned activities, risks/issues, and mitigation plans.
Provide technical/operational guidance to the project team and perform quality oversight of work products and deliverables.
Escalate issues proactively, coordinate resolutions with stakeholders, and ensure risks are tracked to closure.
Support onboarding/offboarding coordination (as applicable) and ensure compliance with training, rules of behavior, and access requirements.
Required Skills:
Demonstrated expertise leading complex programs/projects in enterprise environments, preferably federal healthcare.
Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional coordination skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to produce executive-ready status reporting.
Strong planning skills across schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource coordination.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Security clearance.
Desired Skills and Experience:
Prior experience supporting VA/VHA programs, including CCN, financial modernization, EDI/claims, or related initiatives.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience).
6+ years progressive project management experience; 4+ years supporting federal healthcare programs preferred.
Preferred: Master's degree, PMP/PgMP, and/or Agile/Scrum (e.g., SAFe/CSM) certification.
