Field Service Technician

Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Desktop Support Technician to support a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role is ideal for individuals with strong desktop/laptop support experience and a passion for delivering excellent end-user support. A CompTIA A+ certification (or working toward it) is strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Support laptop and desktop refresh activities, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
• Provide on-site technical support to end users in a hospital environment
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, printer, and basic network issues
• Collaborate with IT team members to ensure timely resolution of technical problems
• Maintain accurate inventory records and document service requests

Required Qualifications

• Experience in desktop support, field services, or IT support roles
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware and software environments
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Basic understanding of networking and security best practices

Preferred Qualifications

• CompTIA A+ certification (or equivalent)
• Experience supporting healthcare or hospital environments
• Familiarity with ticketing systems or knowledge base tools

Additional Information

• Must be comfortable lifting and moving IT equipment as needed
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced, mission-critical environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.
