Sr. Full Stack .NET Developer with GIS (Geospatial) and Azure Exp - NYC, NY (Need locals - F2F)

Title: Sr. Full Stack .NET Developer with GIS (Geospatial) and Azure experience
Location: New York, NY 10271 (Onsite – Need only locals)
Duration: 18 Months (Extension Possible)

Required Qualifications, Skills, And Experience

·         Programmer II - Minimum of 4 years’ experience with writing application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions; environments include but are not limited to mainframe, mid-range, personal computers, laptop; available to assist and/or lead in the design of program specifications and the implementation of software solutions.

·         Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Geographic Information Systems (GIS), or a related field. Master''s degree is a plus.

·         Proven experience (8+ years) as a full stack .NET Developer with hands-on expertise in C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core, .NET 9.0, MVC, Entity Framework, SQL Server, and Azure.

·         Solid understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS, JavaScript libraries, and related frameworks (e.g., React, Angular).

·         Experience with RESTful API development and integration.

·         Demonstrated experience working with geospatial data types in Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle/Oracle Spatial, and PostgreSQL/PostGIS databases.

·         Experience with MS-SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, and/or other geospatial databases.

·         Familiarity with web-based geospatial visualization and map library integrations.

·         Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

·         Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver projects on time and within scope.

·         Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.

·         Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools for continuous integration and delivery.

·         Familiarity with application lifecycle management (ALM) tools such as Azure DevOps and GitHub extensions.

·         Experience with version control using Git and GitHub and release management practices.

·         Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

·         Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

·         Microsoft Azure certifications are a plus.
