Contract: 6 months
Location: 3x a week in Richmond, VA
OverviewWe are seeking a highly motivated Process & Controls Analyst with a strong background in cyber/access management, process optimization, and technical data handling. This role will be responsible for running key operational processes, identifying improvement opportunities, and implementing changes that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control without disrupting existing systems.
Key Responsibilities- Execute and manage daily control and operational processes with a focus on quality and consistency.
- Analyze existing workflows to identify inefficiencies and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements while ensuring no negative downstream technical impact.
- Partner with technical and business teams to ensure process changes align with compliance, security, and operational requirements.
- Use SQL to pull queries and extract data for analysis, troubleshooting, and reporting.
- Build, automate, and optimize workflows within Google Sheets using formulas, logic, and data manipulation to reduce manual work.
- Support access management-related controls, audits, and operational tasks as needed.
- Participate in and support process mapping, documentation, and improvement workshops.
QualificationsRequired- Experience in cybersecurity, access management, identity governance, or related operational environments.
- Strong understanding of process execution and ability to follow structured workflows.
- Technical aptitude - able to assess how process changes may affect systems or downstream operations.
- SQL skills sufficient to run, modify, and understand queries.
- Proficiency with Google Sheets, including formulas, data manipulation, and workflow setup.
Preferred- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or experience with end-to-end process mapping and improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting internal controls, audit processes, or risk remediation.
