Title: SAP IM/WM Functional Consultant
Location: 100% remote on EST hours
Duration: 3 months contract to hire
Pay Rate: $70 - $85 per hour contingent upon experience
Pay Rate upon conversion: $155,000 - $180,000
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled SAP IM/WM Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Inventory Management (IM) and Warehouse Management (WM) and a strong understanding of the following key areas:
Key Responsibilities:- IDOC Mapping:
- Design and implement IDOC mappings for data exchange.
- Ensure reliable and accurate data transfer between systems.
- DLA Inventory EDI (956):
- Manage and integrate DLA Inventory EDI (956) processes.
- Ensure seamless data flow and compliance with EDI standards.
- Warehouse Setup:
- Design and configure warehouse setups to optimize storage and retrieval processes.
- Implement efficient warehouse management strategies.
- Material Storage Strategies:
- Develop and implement material storage strategies to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
- Ensure proper categorization and storage of materials.
- Batch Management:
- Configure and manage batch management processes.
- Ensure accurate tracking and handling of batch-managed materials.
- Characteristics:
- Set up and maintain material characteristics for accurate classification and management.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy in material data.
- Handheld Device Setup:
- Configure and manage handheld devices for warehouse operations.
- Ensure seamless integration with SAP WM and efficient use in daily operations.
- In-Transit Material Dashboard:
- Develop and maintain dashboards for tracking in-transit materials.
- Provide real-time visibility and reporting on material movements.
Qualifications:- Secret clearance or have held one previously and able to obtain again
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP IM/WM with a focus on functional consulting.
- Strong knowledge of SAP IM/WM configuration and integration with other SAP modules.
- Proven experience in IDOC mapping, DLA Inventory EDI (956), and warehouse setup.
- Excellent understanding of material storage strategies, batch management, and characteristics.
- Experience with handheld device setup and in-transit material dashboards.
Preferred Qualifications:- SAP certification in Inventory Management or Warehouse Management.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA.
- Knowledge of other SAP modules such as MM, SD, and PP.
