Job Description
The purpose of the PDC Technician role is to support Pre-Delivery Center operations by performing standardized pre-shipment technical and operational activities on patient monitoring equipment prior to downstream fulfillment and field deployment.
This role is technical and process-driven in nature and requires strong attention to quality, documentation, equipment handling, and adherence to established procedures.
Responsibilities may include product receipt and preparation, software loading, technical and clinical configuration, basic troubleshooting, quality verification, required system transactions, repackaging, and preparation for downstream fulfillment.
PDC Technicians are expected to complete required product, safety, service, quality, regulatory, and system training before performing independent work, and to operate collaboratively with leadership to support operational consistency, scalability, and customer-ready delivery.

Job Knowledge, Skills, Education & Experience Requirements
- High school graduate degree level or equivalent desired, preferably in an engineering, medical, or science-related qualification
- 3 years combination of customer service and technical experience, preferably within healthcare environments
- Technical skills related to patient monitoring equipment configuration, software loading, basic troubleshooting, documentation, and required system transactions
- Ability to translate customer specifications and existing infrastructure requirements into working patient monitoring solutions
- Understanding of industry-standard server, wireless, security, routing, and switching concepts
- Ability to collaborate with subject matter experts and internal teams to understand needs and propose IT solution requirements
- Strong communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, process management, documentation, and teamwork skills
- Maintain a valid driver s license and appropriate driving record
- Strong organizational skills, self-discipline, and ability to work independently and lead others on projects
- Ability to communicate effectively with various levels of employees and customers, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to effectively operate in a team-driven environment and share knowledge to achieve assigned goals and objectives
