Work you'll do

As a Delivery Management Engineer III on the engineering delivery team, you will be responsible for:

Leading end-to-end delivery of engineering or technology initiatives from planning through execution and release

Managing project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams

Coordinating cross-functional teams, including engineering, product, business, and vendor stakeholders

Monitoring delivery progress and reporting status, milestones, and blockers to leadership and key stakeholders

Driving governance, resource planning, and process discipline to support quality, compliance, and on-time delivery

A successful candidate would possess these skills:

Qualifications

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Project Management

Active Secret Security Clearance

4+ years of experience leading engineering, software, infrastructure, or technology delivery projects

1+ years of experience managing cross-functional project teams

Experience using Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall delivery methodologies

Experience managing project plans, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies

Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future.

Preferred:

Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or Project Management

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Scrum Master or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification

Experience leading cloud, platform, or digital engineering programs

Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or Microsoft Project

Experience managing vendor or third-party delivery teams

This compensation range is specific to California and takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $113000 to $188400.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
