The Engineering Department, Operations Division – Engineering Solutions Unit (ES) The Engineering Solutions Applications group supports project delivery and reporting through consultation, development, testing and implementation of system applications and workflows tailored to Engineering department needs. The group maintains and supports various Engineering
Department platforms and acts as the department's liaison with the Technology Department. The Engineering Solutions Unit is seeking an individual to fill an on-site/off-site position for OpenText Content Server Workflow Developer, as outlined below.
Below are consultant services and the required experience and qualifications to perform these services.
Services to be performed by the candidate may include, but shall not be limited to, the following:
· Architect, design and develop new workflows in OpenText Content Server.
· Propose suitable approach based on business requirements. Provide workaround solutions if out of box function reaches its limits.
· Administer, support, enhance existing OT CS workflows.
· Develop, support and enhance OT CS Workflows using 3rd party tools Global Cents – GCI Power Tools.
· Develop, support and enhance data entry forms using XSL style sheets and HTML 5 features.
· Utilize OT CS REST APIs to meet business process requirements.
· Create end-user and administrator reports using WebReports and LiveReports.
· Develop, support and enhance SQL tables, Views and Stored Procedures.
· Interface with end users, business analysts and other team members to collaborate and build solutions.
· Conduct end user training and support.
· Draft and maintain technical documentation and support manuals.
· Provide general Engineering help desk support as a member of the Apps Support Team.
Education, Qualifications, and Experience:
- Must possess a bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college
Required Education, Technical Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 5 years strong demonstrated experience with OpenText Content Server design, development, administrative and support in Workflow, WebReports and LiveReports
- Extensive Knowledge of OT CS workflow development tools, including Global Cents – GCI Power Tools (Documents Builder, Workflow, Reports and Views)
- Extensive Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and XSL Style sheets.
- Extensive Knowledge of database development in table, view, function and store procedure.
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel and Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Preferred Technical Qualifications and Experience:
Below are preferred technical qualifications and experience but not required.
- Experience working with source control, task management and deployment pipeline with Azure DevOps
- Experience working with OpenText LiquidOffice.
- Experience working with large public government agencies or utility organizations, a plus.
