Mid Level Data Scientist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Armonk, NY that is seeking a Mid Level Data Scientist.

Summary:
Mid-Level Data Scientists build scalable, reusable data science products and machine learning solutions in collaboration with data engineers and software/solution engineers. They perform advanced analytics to deliver actionable business insights, develop predictive models, and contribute to the deployment and optimization of analytical solutions within cloud-based environments.

Duties:
* Design and develop machine learning models and advanced analytical solutions
* Analyze large datasets to provide actionable business recommendations
* Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy production-ready solutions
* Optimize model performance and data workflows
* Build and maintain scalable data pipelines within cloud environments
* Present findings and recommendations to business stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS:
* 3-5 years of experience in data science or advanced analytics
* Strong expertise with Python, R, and SQL
* Hands-on experience with Azure ML and Databricks
* Experience with predictive modeling, machine learning, and statistical analysis
* Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and big data technologies
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
