Radiance is seeking a highly qualified and motivated engineer to support RF MASINT R&D and production. The individual will support advanced remote sensing exploitation functions through detailed technical data analysis and through the development and improvement of techniques and procedures for the Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED) of remotely sensed data. The position requires collaborative work with other engineers, scientists, and analysts on complex exploitation issues.

Job Duties
  • Research event phenomenologies, sensor responses, and algorithms to further develop RF MASINT capabilities
  • Investigate, prototype, verify, validate, and document identified research topics
  • Develop and document changes to existing tools supporting production elements
  • Provide technical leadership to teams performing exploitation and process development
  • Analyze and develop processes to support the exploitation of unique, anomalous, and difficult datasets utilizing engineering principles and a physics-based analytical approach
  • Perform algorithm development for complex data exploitation processes

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in STEM field (Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Remote Sensing, or another relevant technical field)
  • Experience in algorithm and tool development
  • Understanding of signal processing techniques for solving new problems
  • Experience with antenna modeling tools
  • Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI

Desired Skills and Qualifications
  • Master's or PhD degree in STEM field (Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Engineering, Remote Sensing, or another relevant technical field)
  • Ability to develop processing chains that combine multiple programs and algorithms into efficient automation schemes
  • Experience in developing geolocation tools
  • Ability to code/script in Python, C/C++, or MATLAB
  • Active TS/SCI
