Systems Engineer - Systems Engineer IV

Location: Redmond, Washington (Onsite)
Employment Type: Contract

Role Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Systems Engineer with a background in requirements management, design for manufacturing, and hardware/software development for hardware testing. This role involves developing and testing manufacturing software, supporting the release of system documents, and troubleshooting yield issues. The ideal candidate will address challenging technical problems and collaborate with multiple teams to deliver effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop software and scripting for test setups and supporting hardware for subsystem validation of the satellite bus.
• Develop and test manufacturing software updates.
• Support and organize the release of software and hardware system documents through gate reviews.
• Investigate and troubleshoot yield issues during prototype and production builds.

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or relevant work experience.


Technical Skills:

• Experience programming with at least one modern language; Python is preferred.
• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting manufacturing test infrastructure.
• Experience with software development on Windows and Linux operating systems.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay Rate Range: $78.00/hr - $88.00/hr. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's experience, education, and location.
